Gradually, the operations for the creation of the new bfresh spitiko production unit started, with the main focus being respect for the environment. For the needs of the project, a number of olive trees were transplanted in order to have the least possible intervention in the natural environment and the local vegetation. The team of bfresh spitiko, faithful to the least possible ecological footprint and always guided by the protection of the environment, is a pioneer in such actions.
The “green” DNA available within the bfresh spitiko team is further enhanced by the continuous recycling of organic production residues. These residues are used for the production of high quality soil conditioners (compost) which according to the European Union help to improve the quality of their soils, enriching them with organic matter and reducing their water needs.
